Authentic Japanese Ceramics, Brands & Product Origins

Great Zakka specializes in Japanese ceramics and teaware from traditional pottery regions such as Kutani, Tokoname, Mino, Arita, Hasami and Shigaraki. We source from Japanese makers, brands, workshops and suppliers. We also serve as an authorized North American distributor of Kusuguru Japan.

Are all Great Zakka products made in Japan?

No. Many of our ceramics and pottery pieces are made in Japan, but a Japanese brand does not necessarily mean every item is manufactured in Japan. Please check each product listing for the specific item's country of origin. When artist or kiln attribution is verified, we include that information on the relevant product or artist profile.

Can I order Japanese gifts from within the United States?

Yes. We are a New York-based retailer with inventory in the United States, and we offer shipping across the U.S. and local pickup at our Great Neck shop. For current rates, eligible international destinations and processing times, see our shipping policy. We also offer digital gift cards.
