Discover the subtle beauty of Japanese nerikomi pottery in this reddish-brown kyusu from Tōsen (陶仙), a Tokoname pottery maker. Known in Japanese as 陶仙練込小丸形無地急須, this small rounded teapot uses the traditional 練込み (nerikomi) technique of combining clays in differing proportions to create a naturally varied, twisted appearance. Its warm earthy tones and restrained form make each tea session feel considered and calm.

A built-in ceramic mesh strainer (セラメッシュ / ceramesh) helps keep loose tea leaves inside the pot as you pour. At 200 mL, it is a compact choice for enjoying Japanese green tea.
