Shigaraki Teal Moribana Ikebana Vase with Kenzan

Made in Japan, this low-profile Shigaraki ware vase is designed for Moribana-style ikebana arrangements. Its elongated, gently curved form is finished in a soft teal-green glaze with natural speckling and subtle warm-toned variations that highlight the character of Shigaraki pottery.

The wide, shallow opening leaves space around the flowers and branches, allowing the water surface and negative space to become part of the arrangement. Four small feet slightly elevate the vessel while keeping its silhouette low and grounded.

A removable kenzan (Japanese flower frog) is included, making the vase ready for arranging flowers, branches, and seasonal greenery.

Because of the nature of the glaze and firing process, slight variations in color, texture, and surface markings may occur, giving each piece its own character.
