Born in 1952, Yamane embarked on his journey with Hagi ware in 1987, establishing his own pottery studio in 1992. Since then, his masterpieces have garnered acclaim, adorned with numerous prestigious awards, a testament to his unparalleled craftsmanship.
Central to this set is the captivating "Seigan Blue," a signature hue developed by Yamane in 2002, adorning most of his ceramics. This unique shade adds an enchanting allure to each piece, elevating the sake-drinking experience to new heights. The set includes a sake tokkuri and two sake cups, each bearing the seal of the potter on its bottom, signifying authenticity and excellence.
