Discover the beauty of Tokoname pottery with this flat black kyusu teapot from Gyokko Kiln (玉光窯). Its striking kiln-fired finish and refined horizontal ridges, known as 黒窯変平型線段急須 (Kuro-yōhen Hiragata Sendan Kyūsu), bring quiet character to every tea ritual. The low, wide shape and built-in ceramic mesh filter make it a thoughtful choice for brewing Japanese loose-leaf tea.
Gyokko Kiln (玉光窯) is a Tokoname pottery studio known for traditional Japanese kyusu tea ware. Its pottery combines functional tea-making design with distinctive ceramic forms and finishes. This teapot is attributed to the kiln; an individual potter has not been confirmed.
Hand wash gently and dry thoroughly after use. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes; dishwasher and microwave suitability have not been verified.
